Rochester Oral Surgery COVID-19 Policy

Our community has been through a lot over the past few months and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same and that is our commitment to your safety.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. Rochester Oral Surgery follows infection control recommendations made by the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (AAOMS), the U. S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and that our office adheres to each agency and their recommendations. Infection control has always been and will continue to be a top priority for this practice

The following changes have been made at our office to help protect our patients and staff:

• You will be asked specific questions related to your health and you will have your temperature taken prior to being seen by the doctor.

• There will be hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed.

• There will be no magazines, books or children’s toys in the waiting room since these items are difficult to clean and disinfect.

• Appointments are being managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you will be offered fewer options for scheduling an appointment.

• Please wear a mask to the office. We are asking at this time, if you/patient needs to have someone accompany you/patient to the office please limit that to 1 person only.

• Our doctors and staff will be screened daily for symptoms to ensure your safety.

We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at one time.

We look forward to meeting with you and would be happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we have taken to keep you, and every patient safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 585-442-1492.

The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved.

Dental implants are changing the way people live. With them, people are rediscovering the comfort and confidence to eat, speak, laugh and enjoy life.
