Dr. Jolly Caplash is an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon located in Rochester, NY. He practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures . Dr. Caplash is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is Chair of the division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Rochester Regional Health System, and he is also the Chair of the Department of Dentistry for Rochester Regional Health System. He is on the faculty staff at The University of Rochester Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department. He performs full scope Oral & Maxillofacial surgery including Anesthesia/IV Sedation, Third Molar surgery (Wisdom teeth removal), Dental implant surgery, Bone grafting & reconstruction and Corrective jaw surgery( Orthognathic Surgery). He also diagnoses and treats facial pain, facial injuries, TMJ disorders, pathology and reconstruction, Botox injections. In addition, Dr. Caplash performs more complicated cases at Rochester General Hospital as well as the University of Rochester Strong Memorial Hospital . He also teaches residents in the oral & Maxillofacial surgery program.
Dr. Caplash is also trained in Anesthesia from University Of Rochester where he did additional training in Anesthesia in addition to Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency. Dr. Caplash is amongst the few Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons in the country who received additional training in Anesthesia.
